Islamabad: On Monday, Army Chief General Asim Munir declared that Pakistan would utilize its full military capabilities to safeguard its national dignity and the welfare of its citizens.
During a session with attendees of the 15th National Workshop in Balochistan at the General Headquarters, he reiterated Pakistan's desire for peace both regionally and globally. However, he firmly stated that any infringement on the nation's sovereignty would be met with a robust response.
General Munir highlighted that terrorism transcends religious, sectarian, and ethnic boundaries, necessitating a united national front against it.
He criticized terrorist factions exploiting Baloch identity to further their malicious agendas, labeling them as a disgrace to Baloch pride and patriotism.
The army chief assured that Pakistan's military and law enforcement would persist in combating terrorism, bolstered by the unwavering support of the Pakistani populace.
He also pointed out that foreign-backed terrorism poses the most significant threat to the security and progress of Balochistan, warning that attempts by hostile entities to incite violence and create instability would be thwarted.
